"Prayer"

Prayer is the greatest tool we have as believers. But it is also the most unused tool we have. So many times we use prayer as a spare tire or a 911 line. We only pray when everything is going wrong. 

God created man so He would have someone to fellowship with. God communicates with us through the Bible, His word, and we talk to God through prayer. God loves to hear from us. Just as much as I enjoy hearing the voice of my children, God enjoys hearing the voice of His children. As we go throughout our day, may we take some time to stop and talk to our Heavenly Father, not just when we need Him, but about the good things in our lives too.

What if we woke up today with only the things we thanked God for yesterday? Take a few minutes everyday to thank Him for all He has done for you, and remember that prayer isn’t just a spare tire. 

Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.  -1 Thessalonians 5:17-18
